Following a year at Blyk as Head of Direct Marketing, she has transitioned into the dynamic, fast moving world of Mobile Marketing. Prior to this she had a media career at a BBC Worldwide which spanned nearly 16 years. Ultimately she was the Direct Marketing Sales Director for BBC Magazines. This industry association has afforded her the opportunity to work with a variety of stakeholders in the Insert & Mobile industry, as well as the wider direct marketing community. Jo was a dedicated member of the DMA Inserts Council for 9 years. In 2004 she was voted Vice Chair and proudly held the role of Chair of the Council for 3 years & is very proud of the work that the Council has continued to drive through for the for the benefit of the industry as a whole. She has been a member of the DMA Mobile Marketing Council since October 2008, recently taking the role of Chair of the newly formed Communications Hub. She is excited about the future of Mobile & the positive contribution which the Mobile Marketing Council is making within the channel to promote the use of Mobile across industry. With particular strengths in building relationships at all levels, with excellent negotiation, communication & presentation skills Jo is keen to fuse Mobile & Direct Marketing techniques for mutually beneficial working relationships across channels.
