He was once a famed bachelor who appeared to be set against settling down.
But then George Clooney met Elisabetta Canalis - and it's not hard to see what first attracted him to the Italian actress.
Canalis, 31, showed off her amazing bikini body, and incredibly pert posterior, as she enjoyed a boat ride with friends on Lake Como, Italy.

Canalis looked stunning in the floral triangle bikini top and matching thong bottoms.
The actress started dating Clooney last July, after meeting him in Rome following his split from former cocktail waitress Sarah Larson a year earlier.
And she is set to become an international television star in her own right after landing a role as a spy in U.S. TV show Leverage.
However, despite clearly being more than a catch herself, Clooney, who has previously dated actress Renee Zellweger and TV presenter Lisa Snowdon, says he has no plans to marry again.

He was married once before to actress Talia Balsam for four years.
He explained: 'I have had long relationships with women and they get bored with me working all the time.
'My fear is that I would still make a lousy husband and I don’t want to put myself - or anyone else - through the pain of finding out.'
Meanwhile, Canalis caused a stir last week after apparently tweeting that Jennifer Aniston looked like ageing rocker Iggy Pop.

The comment, originally written in Italian, translated as: 'I'm browsing again through the pages of Rolling Stone. Iggy Pop on the cover looks exactly like Jennifer Aniston.'
However, she has since denied making the comment herself, and said she was just re-tweeting something that a friend had written about the former Friends actress.
Explaining she had experienced 'problems' with the micro-blogging site, Canalis said: 'I was at the beginning, not sure what "retweet" meant.'
She later added on her Twitter page: 'But I don't know what to do with somebody who doesn't understand that it was a MISTAKE to retweet what SOMEBODY ELSE wrote ok?!?'
